As I finished practicing this bridge the other night in the church, I cheekily smirked at my friend and said, "Do you believe this?" She responded, "No!" with no reservation. Not trying to be smart, I said, "Well, sing it 'til ya do!"
No matter how many times any one tells you, "I love you", it is a bit hard to believe. If I listen to my little ol' heart it generally answers, "Me? ...really... are you sure?" 🫣 It is much easier to run, hide, and deny than to say, "Here I am, take me as I am." I believe that is all God is waiting to hear. He is not waiting for you to be perfect, he is not waiting for you to be "ready" for him. He just wants you to come as you are. Sooooo... just keep showing up until you believe it. 😉
